What is NTCA?

All WorldatWork Local Association of the Year nominations are also considered for two certificate awards recognizing excellence in the areas of membership and innovation. Certificate winners will be recognized at the WorldatWork Local Network Leadership Conference and display an award icon on the association's website. NTCA is proud to announce that it was named WorldatWork Local Network's Local Association of the Year.

Local Association of the Year Award Criteria

Award Overview:

WorldatWork and the local associations who are part of the WorldatWork Local Network provide resources, education and networking opportunities for members and volunteers to advance the total rewards profession. By implementing this award program, WorldatWork will formally recognize the local association that has made an outstanding contribution to the HR profession and partnership with WorldatWork. In 2014 WorldatWork Local Association of the Year nominations were considered for two additional certificate awards that highlight associations in the areas of membership and innovation.

Eligible local associations exhibit exceptional performance in the following categories:

  • Advancement of the HR profession
  • Professional development of members
  • Strong member engagement
  • Community involvement
  • Operation of a professional association.

Award Winner:

WorldatWork will recognize the winning local association in the following ways:

  • Cash award
  • Complimentary WorldatWork speaker at one of the local association's member meetings
  • Plaque received at the annual WorldatWork Local Network Leadership Conference
  • Mention in a WorldatWork publication
  • Press release
  • Award icon displayed on the local association's website, Online Community group page and the WorldatWork Local Network Leader website.

Certificate Winners:

WorldatWork will recognize the certificate winners in the following ways:

  • Official certificate recognizing the local association as a Membership Star and/or Innovation Star
  • Award icon displayed on the local association's website
  • Recognition at the WorldatWork Local Network Leadership Conference.

Award Nominee:

WorldatWork will recognize the nomination of local associations in the following ways:

  • Nominee icon displayed on the local association's website, Online Community group page and the WorldatWork Local Network Leader website
  • Spotlight on the WorldatWork Local Network Leader website
  • Recognition at the WorldatWork Local Network Leadership Conference.
