Compensation on the Rebound: 2010 Compensation Trends
This presentation will delve into the latest trends in compensation, as well as the talent and reward challenges that firms are facing in this time of slow recovery. As the US economy continues to adjust from a severe recession, various compensation questions come to mind, such as: How do companies foster employee focus and performance in a climate of fear and uncertainty? How should companies treat employees now to ensure that higher performers are retained when times get better? When the economy improves, will there be another talent war due to pent up demand on the part of both employees and employers? These and other questions surrounding emerging compensation trends will be discussed with participants to aid in planning and implementing an effective total rewards strategy.
