Brent M. Longnecker, CCP, CBP, is president of Longnecker & Associates, Inc., the largest independent executive compensation and governance consultancy based in the Houston area. He is a leading expert in strategic compensation, corporate governance and human resource planning and has more than 20 years of experience in the analysis, design and implementation of innovative performance and productivity-enhancement programs. He has authored hundreds of articles and is working on his 7th book. Additionally, as a faculty member of WorldatWork, he teaches and assists with curriculum development in the area of strategic compensation. Prior to forming Longnecker & Associates, Longnecker was president of Resources Consulting group, a spin-off of Deloitte & Touche where he served as national Partner -in- charge of Deloitte's performance management and compensation consulting practice.
