JOB SUMMARY
COMBINATION OF RELEVANT EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE WILL BE CONSIDERED.
- Perform job analysis, job evaluations, and maintenance of UTHSCSA job descriptions and classification structures. Conducts job audits of individual positions and determines appropriate classification. Assist in the evaluation of jobs and the appropriate applications of existing job classification to individual employees (e.g., FLSA compliance, internal/external equity, job description review and maintenance).
- Conducts, reviews, and analyses and makes recommendations to special pay requests of external market and internal equity. Maintains the pay plan data through updates to PeopleSoft tables, HR web page and other various application software.
- Reviews personnel requisition through the Online Employment System to determine proper classification and makes necessary recommendation when needed. Conducts and participates in salary surveys. Match internal job to survey position description, gathers and reports scope and salary data. Conducts and participates in salary surveys. - Collects and examines detailed information about job duties in order to prepare job descriptions. Serve as team member on various compensation projects.
- Provide assistance regarding organizational design, salary policies and procedures. Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resource Management, Public Administration or related field, with two years of job related professional experience, in human resources, compensation, or personnel administration.
