Description: |
Develops and implements compensation programs that provide a competitive level of pay, motivation, and reward to associates. Requires a well-seasoned professional who understands the organization’s needs, can recommend the design of multifaceted programs, and implement them sensitively. 1) Lead/participate in various compensation-related projects which involve revision, development and/or redesign of existing compensation programs. This includes high-level project management, partnering with appropriate internal and external resources, and ensuring that projects are on-time and on-budget, while achieving desired goals and objectives. 2) Administration of various compensation programs, ensuring programs are in compliance with established legislation, guidelines, processes, and procedures. This may include programs such as incentive compensation, sales compensation, annual merit review cycle, geographic differential, etc. 3) Responsible for day-to-day consultation activities of the compensation department. This includes, but is not limited to proper evaluation of jobs utilizing the Hay job evaluation protocol, counseling of managers on individual salary treatment and development of new incentive plans. 4) Partner with legal department on equity design and administration.
