Rewards and Engagement Given the Current Economic Condition
Please join the NTCA and your compensation and benefits colleagues in learning about Towers Perrin’s recent research related to the impact of the current economic condition on reward programs and employee engagement.  Towers Perrin will share the results of four key studies representing data reported from December 2008 through February 2009 regarding compensation and benefits plan changes/actions, employee engagement levels and key drivers of engagement in this challenging economic time.

Susan Haslett, Towers Perrin
As the co-leader of Towers Perrin's Global Rewards Practice, Ms. Haslett has worked with a number of clients in developing total reward strategies, and in designing and implementing reward programs, in light of mergers/acquisitions, organization leadership changes, and business strategy change.  Recent assignments have included work in the areas of business literacy/incentive implementation, linking pay/performance management to business strategy, global pay program development and compensation outsourcing. 

Ms. Haslett has over 15 years of consulting experience across a variety of industries.  Prior to joining Towers Perrin, Ms. Haslett served in a variety of roles in corporate compensation and human resource management, including serving as Director, Performance and Rewards Management for Pepsi-Cola.

Ms. Haslett graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management from Texas Christian University.

Laura Rickey, Towers Perrin
Ms. Rickey has more than 15 years of experience developing and implementing reward and performance management strategies and programs in support of organizational goals and objectives.

Rewards experience includes total rewards strategy development, competitive compensation review, base pay structure design and pay delivery guidelines implementation.  Ms. Rickey has also worked with clients in career ladder design, compensation program communications development and delivery, and exemption classification reviews.

Performance management experience includes system review, design and implementation for a number of organizations across a variety of industries.

Ms. Rickey holds a Bachelor of Business Adminstration in Finance and Marketing from the University of Florida, and an M.B.A. from Vanderbilt University.

From I-30, exit University Drive and travel south. 
After approximately 1.5 miles, turn right onto Cantey Drive (there is a traffic light at this intersection).
Turn left onto Stadium Drive.
The Dee J. Kelly Alumni Center will be on your right.  Turn right into the parking area.
